Non contact type:- Radar level measurement

Contact type:- Guided Wave Radar Level measurement
The difference between both of these is only that in guided wave radar level measurement a guide is provided through which radio waves travel and and reflect back.
Guided Wave Radar measurement have following advantages over counterpart radar level measurement.
