Electromagnetic flow meter is not suitable for which kind of fluids?

Electromagnetic flow meters can be used in a wide range of applications with the limitations only being that of the solution or slurry that would Be flowing. Abrasive fluids would require a rubber lined mag that would provide protection for your electrodes. Corrosive solutions use Teflon insulation’s. As long as the necessary and correct factors are considered and catered for your electromagnetic flowmeter can work in any application.

Coming from measuring principle, ofcourse Non conductive fluids will not work. Additionally, we also have to take care of 2 phased fluids ( example air in liquid), pulsating flows etc. Good engineering practice and pre-engineering in selecting right flowmeter model for given fluid could help with such applications.
