The System allows for hot-swapping of any of the input/output cards.
Hot-swapping means that a card can be removed or inserted into the card rack while the System is powered ON.
Therefore any maintenance or testing task requiring removal/insertion of the cards can be performed while the System is running, therefore causing minimal disruptions to the ongoing monitoring & control operations.
