Fiber optic patch panel is an integrated unit for fiber management, these equipment functions are to fix and manage the fiber optic cables inside the box as well as provide protection. Patch panel provides interconnect or cross-connect capabilities between two units of outside plant, riser or distribution cables, and optoelectronic types of equipment.

Design:

A fiber optic patch panel usually contains two parts, the compartment that contains fiber adapter panels (detachable), and the other compartment that contains fiber optic splice trays for fusion splicing and spools for excess fiber routing.

In most of the fiber optic patch panels, all of the adapters are of the similar type and in some fiber optic patch panels adapters are with various types as per the customer requirements at the workplace. Most of the fiber optic patch panels are designed to support either fusion spicing or direct termination of the fibers. Fiber optic patch panels can accommodate hybrid fiber adapter to connect two different types of fiber connectors. Also, conversion cables can be used to connect two different types of adapters on either end.

  1. DinRail fiber optic patch panel

These are the fiber enclosure that can mount to standard 35mm DIN rail frame. These patch panels are suitable for mounting in DIN Rail panels where there is space constraint inside PLC’s. Because of its compact and ruggedly designed case, it is suitable for industrial applications.

Wall Mount Fiber Patch Panel/LIU is designed to support fusion splicing or direct termination of the fibers. This modular enclosure provides cross-connect and interconnect capabilities for splicing and terminating outdoor cables & FTTH drop cables in fiber access network.

Our Wall mounts fiber patch panels are made with 16-gauge mild steel with corrosion-resistant seven tank process powder coating to provide excellent protection for the inside fibers.
