Instrument Stanchion is the term for stand, it is a steel support where by transmitter is mounted.

Normally constructed from 2 inch pipe schedule 40 or 80 with steel plate, the transmitter is attached to the stand by means of bracket provided by the transmitter vendor.
Stand can be accommodate one or more transmitter.
Stand can be fabricate with Earth connection for the transmitter protective earth.
For transmitter which does not have electrical parts such as gauges, pneumatic transmitter, The requirement for earth connection can be eliminate.
