The PLC Discrete Output Checklist is used to do a functional test of digital output (DO) signals of a programmable logic controller and record display status of SCADA, Alarms, etc.
The advantage of this test to simulate the DO cards of the PLC and verify their functionality.
Also, verify the plc program corresponds to the respective digital inputs. for example, when you simulate a DO signal, then we have to check the respective DO signal (if available) Graphics status in scada and verify whether the alarms are generating or not as per the required configuration. And verify the color changing for the alarm on and off conditions in the graphics display of HMI.
Note : Not all DO signals have graphic indications.
