Can anybody help me in differentiating pit & pit less weighbridge according to it’s performance, maintenance, construction & defining pros & cons of both.

Pit type weighbridge

A Pit type weighbridge is mounted in a pit. It takes more work to install. The weighing surface is level with the road.

This type of weighbridge / Truck scale is most suitable where the excavation work for foundation is difficult or construction of pit is expensive. Since the structure is above ground level, vehicles can approach the weighbridge only from two directions where the ramps are provided. This type of weighbridge requires more space.

In Pitless weighbridge RCC ramp work must be required atleast 3 meters for both side for easy movement of vehicle.

OK, nice one i got it but would there be any difference in performance of both. Which one is likely to get more wear & tear, which one would require more maintenance?? Which is having higher durability to handle loads without damage.
